Yang Miao
The right one is me.

My name is Yang Miao (缪洋). I am currently a PhD student at INSAIT, supervised by Prof. Luc Van Gool, Prof. Danda Paudel. and Dr. Jan-Nico Zaech . My research interests include 3D Computer Vision, Robotics and Multi-Modal Foundation Models.

Previously, I obtained Master degree in Robotics, System and Control at ETH Zurich, where I worked as a research assistant on "Visual Localization on 3D Scene Graph" at CVG Lab, supervised by Dr. Dániel Béla Baráth, Dr. Francis Engelmann, Dr. Olga Vysotska and Prof. Dr. Marc Pollefeys,. Prior to that, I took my Master thesis on "Panoptic SLAM with Semantic and Geometric Consistency" at CVG Lab, supervised by Dr. Iro Armeni and Dr. Dániel Béla Baráth. I took my Semester Project on "Visual Odometry with New Unprecedented Event Camera" at RPG Lab, supervised by Nico Messikommer, Dr. Daniel Gehrig and Prof. Dr. Davide Scaramuzza.

I obtained my Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Harbin Institute of Technology, where I worked with Prof. Zhan Li and Dr. Yangyi Peng on Automatic Cargo Loading System at Tianjin Port.
